Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Grailry app and services (the “Service”) provided by Grailry. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Grailry catalogues and prices your cards. It is not a marketplace, not an appraiser, and not financial advice. Your vault is yours, and you can take it with you or delete it at any time.
1. What Grailry is
A personal vault and price tracker for trading cards. We identify cards from photos you take and show market reference estimates from third-party pricing sources. We do not buy, sell, broker, or take a commission on anything in your collection.
2. Values are estimates, not appraisals
Every figure in the app is a market reference estimate, not an appraisal, offer, or guarantee. Prices move, sources disagree, and condition matters enormously. Do not treat a Grailry number as a valuation for insurance, sale, or tax purposes without independent professional confirmation. Grailry is not liable for losses arising from reliance on displayed values.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement and can form a binding contract.
4. Your account
You need an account to keep a vault across devices, and you are responsible for activity under it. Keep your password to yourself, use an address you can actually receive mail at, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in. One person, one account — handles are first come, first served and can be changed once every 30 days. You may use a guest account, but some features require a registered one.
5. What you may not do
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate anyone — another collector, or Grailry itself.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or images you do not have the right to use.
- Submit scans of cards you do not have in hand.
- Scrape the catalogue, reverse-engineer or overload the Service, or try to break the scan limits or circumvent security or payment controls.
- Use the Service to violate any law or third party’s rights.
Trades arranged through the app are between you and the other collector. We are not a party to them, we take no commission, and we cannot recover anything for you. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; we provide tools to report and block abusive users, and reports are reviewed by our team.
6. Subscriptions
Grailry Plus is $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, billed by the app store you bought it from. Free is 50 scans to start, then 5 a month, then 100 gems a scan — metered, never blocked.
Plus gates four things, and only four: unlimited scans; the price-drop push notification; unlimited AI chat, against 10 messages a day on free and 10 gems a message after that; and the valuation PDF export. Re-pricing is not one of them — every vault, free or Plus, re-prices on the same 24-hour cycle.

| Auto-renewal | It renews at the end of every period until you cancel. Your store charges the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending, so cancel at least 24 hours before if you do not want the next one. |
| How to cancel | We cannot cancel it for you — the store holds the contract. On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Grailry. On Android: Play Store › profile › Payments and subscriptions. Plus keeps working to the end of the period you already paid for. |
| Refunds | The store took the payment, so the store issues the refund — ask Apple or Google, and we will back a reasonable request in writing if you tell us about it. We do not pro-rate a part-used period, and cancelling does not refund one. |
| Price changes | If the price goes up we email you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to, and the rise never takes effect on a period you have already paid for. Where your store requires it, a rise needs your explicit agreement or the subscription simply lapses. |
| When Plus ends | Nothing you catalogued is deleted or locked. The vault stays, it keeps re-pricing, and you drop back to the free scan allowance. |
7. Gems
Gems meter scans past your free quota and buy nothing else — 100 gems a scan. You earn them from check-ins, weekly challenges and seasonal placings. Gems cannot be bought.
Gems are not currency and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, cashed out, or refunded, they do not expire while your account is open, and a balance is destroyed with the account when you delete it.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as card photos and notes). You grant Grailry a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (including AI identification and, if you opt in, public vault sharing).
9. Intellectual property
The Grailry app, branding, and software are owned by Grailry. Card names, images, and game trademarks belong to their respective owners; Grailry is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trading card game publisher.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of card identification or pricing, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grailry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or value of collectibles, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Ending things
Delete your account from Settings inside the app and it happens immediately; ask from this website and we confirm the address first, then run the same immediate deletion. Encrypted backups expire within 30 days. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription — do that in your store account as well. We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms, and we will tell you why unless doing so would make an abuse problem worse. If we ever shut Grailry down, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and an export before anything is switched off.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
